Following their recent merger, CWB Group and PETOŠEVIĆ Group attended the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 2023 Annual Meeting Live+ in Singapore as one firm. The event took place from May 16 to May 20, 2023, and was attended by over 8,000 registrants, including brand owners, IP practitioners, government officials and academics from more than 140 jurisdictions around the globe.
It was a great occasion for the new CWB to convey the news of the recent merger to existing clients and potential new ones, during almost 150 meetings and gatherings that the team had during the event. News of the merger garnered enthusiasm, particularly due to the extended geographical coverage and the single point of contact arrangement for all existing and upcoming matters across the 100+ jurisdictions under the CWB umbrella, now spanning the Middle East, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
A common sentiment among all CWB and PETOŠEVIĆ participants was that INTA 2023 was an incredible event where everyone shared a great degree of enthusiasm and where the business and social spheres aligned seamlessly. The conference was a remarkable experience, fulfilling and fruitful on many different levels, and undoubtedly something to look forward to in the years to come.
Looking ahead, during the opening ceremony on May 17, 2023, it was announced that the INTA 2026 Annual Meeting will be held in Dubai, home to one of CWB’s main offices. The vibrant city will be the first city in the Middle East to host this prestigious global event.
