Kuwait acceded to the Paris Convention for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works on 2 September 2014, both of which will enter into force on 2 December 2014. The accession will bolster Kuwait’s current intellectual property law framework and with its accession to the Paris Convention, all GCC countries have now acceded. (wipo.int, 2 September 2014)
