Elias is a qualified Australian lawyer experienced in both contentious and non-contentious IP matters and has advised on anti-trust practices and consumer protection issues. He has worked across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East and North Africa regions and specialises in the development, protection and commercialisation of IP assets, with an emphasis on brands.

Elias has managed global IP portfolios for notable companies. His main practice areas include: brand development and protection, trade mark prosecution and transactional IP, including IP due diligence across complex transactions and commercialisation of IP assets through licensing and other forms of commercial exploitation.

Prior to joining the firm in Dubai, Elias was based in Sydney, Australia, where he was part of a top-tier intellectual property practice at one of the leading global law firms.
