Shafic joined CWB as Chief Commercial Officer in 2021 to assist with firm expansion and business development opportunities. He has over two decades’ experience working in the intellectual property industry throughout the MENA region. Shafic regularly advises Fortune 500 clients on their protection strategy in the MENA region and is a trusted advisor to key decision makers in the industry.

Prior to joining CWB, Shafic worked with Saba & Co. where he began his career as a business development manager before being promoted to partner in 2008. Shafic has solid business development experience having doubled company turnover in less than ten years. Shafic is a member of several international IP associations where he promotes the importance of IP in the MENA region.
